Hey there and thanks for coming along to my page about me being a Silverholme Manor wedding photographer. This venue just screams greatness. Located in the small village of Graythwaite on the western shores of the southern lake windermere. Which is why is gives me incredible pleasure to be a photographer capturing weddings in such a beautiful location. The Graythwaite estate covers 5000 acres of private Lakeland, forest and woodland. However within meters of the Manor House they have private gardens that stretch all the way down to the lake. If you are having your wedding here, regardless of any wedding planning you may do I can guarantee it will scream Grandeur!

Georgian Manor House Wedding
As this beautiful Lake District wedding venue has several rooms in which you can choose for your wedding ceremony it gives you plenty of options and opportunity to have the wedding just the way you want it. Wether it’s a smaller intimate wedding, then. the house can have up to 25 guests. Larger weddings for up to 100 in the coach house and there is also the option for humanist ceremonies that overlook Lake Windermere. These humanist ceremonies can have up to 200 guests. One of the great things about this wedding venue is that you can house all of your guests here too. All of the bridesmaids and groomsmen can be a stone throw away for your relaxed preparations in the morning.
Lake District Wedding Ceremonies
I love photographing weddings in the lakes. I mean, as if taking a camera to the Lake District isn’t a good idea without having a wedding going on. With the lakes being just an hours drive from my home, being a Lake District Wedding Photographer is a huge privilege for me and one I don’t take lightly. Weddings are primarily set around the wedding ceremony and can you really find a better setting to say your vows, to give each other rings and to make your promises as husband and wife? Without sounding all “mushy”, weddings really are about love. Love is what makes marriages happen and they really are beautiful. This is why I think such a beautiful setting and a beautiful location is the perfect spot for your magical wedding.
