Shropshire Wedding With Richard + Dory
October can be a tricky time for a wedding in the UK as the weather can be unpredictable. To be honest the weather can be unpredictable anytime of the year though your chances of a good day slip when planning a wedding for October. Though I fully deserve that nice things deserve to happen to nice people. Richard and Dory are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met and was delighted for them when the weather was so nice for their Shropshire wedding at Iscoyd Park. Having already met the couple on this beautiful pre wedding shoot in Wales, they were fully ready to be photographed by me as they now understood that everything I do is laid back, less traditional and relaxed.
Bridal Preparations At Iscoyd Park
Dory spent the morning at some nearby accommodation before arriving at Iscoyd Park to finish off getting ready alongside her mother and her bridesmaids. I love arriving at this venue and I love making Iscoyd Park Wedding Photos. The gorgeous bridal suite is such a pretty place for a bride to spend her morning. It has gorgeous views over the countryside, a huge four post bed and is big enough to have a few bridesmaids in here to help you get ready without it feeling too cramped. The amazing hair and make up by both ENTER HERE. Another great things about this venue is that the photo opportunities are endless. I was able to take a couple of nice portraits of Dory on her own inside the venue before we headed off to the church. The amazing hair stylist was Gillian from Kreative Hairdressing and the stunning make up was done by Sarah of Sarah Dunn Hair + Beauty.
St Marys Church Whitewell Ceremony
A typical and stunning English church tucked away in the heart of Shropshire. Just a short drive from Iscoyd Park, this small church is such a beautiful place. It was great arriving shortly before the bride did as I had chance to take photos of Rich meeting and greeting the wedding guests outside of the church. There were so many happy faces and everyone so super excited to see Dory arrive. When she did you could really feel the emotion in the atmosphere. Both Rich and Dory are emotional people and with all of those close to them so close and ready they were also getting emotional. The anticipation was great and the ceremony was just amazing. The couple cried, smiled and laughed the whole time, I almost shed a tear myself it was so nice!
Shropshire Wedding Bliss
It would be unfair for me to say I’ve never seen a couple so in love before. I photograph many weddings and seen so many couples in love but its difficult to say one couple were in love more than the other couple. Though what I can see is that different couples show their love for each other in any different ways. Some are much more conservative and private about their emotions and some are just an open book. The latter is the case here. Richard and Dory could just not help themselves for showing the world how smitten these where about each other! This gorgeous Shropshire wedding was oozing love and there was never a moment without a smile a laugh or a tear.
Dance Like Its Your Wedding Day
More extroverted love from Richard and Dory when it came to their first dance. The newlyweds had definitely put some work into making this a great final showpiece to end their wedding celebrations. Surrounded by their close family and the rest of the wedding guests. They each held each other truly like they were each the best thing that have ever happened to each other. Just one of many moments that remind me how lucky I am to be a wedding photographer and capture such beautiful moments in time.
