You’re getting married and need to find a wedding venue in London. The capital city of England has so many wedding venues. If you factor in the surrounding areas the number goes up considerably. So as a wedding photographer in London I’ve put together a shortlist of wedding venues for you to have a look at that are either in the city or just outside of London.
Hedsor House – Buckinghamshire
Hedsor House has literally been quoted by Tatler and Vouge Magazine as a “Dream Wedding Venue”. They have a kilometre long drive that leads up to this Georgian country house. Your nuptials here can take place inside the centre hall and they have a newly refurbished, bright oak-panelled ballroom. This ballroom can seat up to 150 wedding guests.
The lawns they have at this venue are just ridiculous. Wedding photos at Hedsor House will stand out beyond all others if you have the right photographer and this venue. The backdrops are incredible and overlook the hills of the Thames Valley.

This grand and historic wedding venue is on the banks of the river thames. This magical wedding venue is an ideal location for you to celebrate with you wedding guests, close family and friends. Choosing to gather all of your loved ones to this place to seal your marriage is so good because the staff here will be sure to make sure that everyone has the greatest time. I remember when shooting here how lovey they were.
They host so many events here not just weddings at Fulham Palace. So its a really sought after location for any event. Though the gardens and riverside photography opportunities will leave you super happy once your wedding is all over.
Botleys Mansion – Surrey
This exclusive and grand wedding venue is arroximatley 30 minutes from central London. If you really wanted a city centre wedding venue, it may be worth the travel for this place though. It has a stunning sweeping driveway and the words grandeur and glamor come to mind when describing the staircase and hall.
Its such a stylish place, marrying your bride or groom here is the perfect location for this exclusive wedding venue to look after all of your wedding needs.
The bridal suite here has views over gorgeous Surrey parkland. There are 11 guest bedrooms for your close family or important wedding members. One of the great things about this wedding venue is that it has 160 guest rooms. 54 of these are suites and 7 of them are stunning signature suites for that real luxury London wedding feel.

The Old Naval Grounds are the home of this gorgeous luxury London wedding venue and its sits on the banks of the river thames. The vibe of this venue could be described as “regal charm”. Perhaps you’re planning on having a smaller more intimate wedding for 80 people or you’re having a grand wedding of 400 guests. This venue has you covered.
There are two options for your wedding ceremony. You can either have your nuptials in the chapel. The Chapel is a lofty space defined by James Stuarts framed interiors. It also has rounded ceilings that provide amazing acoustics.

This selection of luxury wedding venues in London is short but strong in quality. I plan to add more places to get married in the capital to this list over time. I don’t envy anyone that has to chose a wedding venue. The worst thing about having to do that is choosing not to have all of the other wedding venues!
