Cumbrian Wedding At Lodore Falls
The world is full of beautiful places. Travel bloggers cover the planet to find the most interesting, gorgeous and fascinating places you can imagine. I love to travel my self. A lot. Even as a destination wedding photographer I get to photograph weddings all over the world. Though I don’t actually have to travel that far to find breathtaking places. I’m based in the North West of England and that means I’m super close to Cumbria and the Lake District. It really really is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Never mind Lake Como, here in Cumbria its just as awesome.
Getting Married In The Lake District
Once you’ve visited this place you don’t need many reasons to get married in the Lake District. Stephanie and Ian chose this place for their wedding as it meant something to them personally and for its breathtaking beauty. With so many wedding venues here to choose from you can’t really go wrong. The only difficult part would be to actually have to go through all of the wedding venues and choose one! They chose Lodore Falls for their wedding and its such beautiful wedding venue. If your considering get married here in the Lakes this venue is really worth looking at!
Bridal Preparations In The Lakes
During my time as a Lake District Wedding Photographer I get to spend mornings with the bridal party whilst in this amazing location. I love the atmosphere in the lakes and think it really transfers into the atmosphere of the bridal preparations. I take a less traditional approach to my photography and whilst Keseme was doing Stephs amazing make up I was able to just relax with the rest of the bridal party, get to know them a little and allow them to feel relaxed around me. I don’t like people looking into the camera and saying cheese so the more I get to get to know the guests and allow them to get to know me the more i can just blend into the wedding and photography things naturally.
Outdoor Lake District Wedding Ceremony
Stephanie and Ian had their wedding ceremony outdoors here near to Derwent Water. When you’re in the lake district it’s all about being outdoors. Even if you have bad weather you’re supposed to embrace the rain and wind as its all part of the Lake Districts Character. Though its not the type of weather you want on your wedding day. Lucky for this bride and groom though, it’s stayed dry and we even had a little sunshine. If you’re getting married in the Lake District and you have the opportunity for an outdoor ceremony, then you must take it! Unless of course you’ve particularly chosen one of the many Lake District Wedding Venues that has the most beautiful interior and that’s why you want to get married there.
