Aughton Wedding At The West Tower
Whats the best thing about shooting weddings at the West Tower? Well first of all I live less that 3 miles away from this exclusive Lancashire wedding venue. But the best thing about it is…well I really can’t narrow it down to just one thing. So here on this post I’m going to go into Jezel + Michaels Aughton wedding at the west tower a little so you can see for yourself why this is such a great place for a wedding.
Bridesmaids & Bridal Preparations
Jezel and her bridal party had all of their preparations at Jezels mums house not too far from the wedding ceremony location. It was a super laid back morning of them all getting ready, drinking bubbly and all having their hair and make up done. Coincidentally Jezel had booked my sister of Linzi Smith Hair & Beauty to do all of the bridal and bridesmaids make up. It was a really relaxed morning with them all. So much anticipation goes in to this part of the day and its great to be a part of.
Liverpool Wedding Ceremony
Jezel and Michael had their wedding ceremony at St Michaels & All Angels church in Kirkby before heading to the West Tower for the rest of their wedding celebrations. Such a beautiful church and was the perfect setting for all of the wedding guests. It’s a really small and intimate church. I love these types of venues and getting close to the action capturing the perfect moments so you really can relive them all over again.
West Tower Wedding Reception
Once everything was official and Jezel and Michael had tied the knot, had their first kiss and had been congratulated by all of their family and friends it was off to Aughton for the wedding reception at the West Tower. With this venue being completely exclusive its like your own private party. Its beautiful on the outside and its beautiful on the inside. Such a great choice of venue from these newly weds. I love the light in the wedding breakfast room and I love the light that comes in from the west as the sun sets. A perfect sunset wedding venue.
The staff here at the West Tower are super friendly and from what Jezel and Michael told me, they really look after their couples. I love coming back to this venue as a West Tower Wedding Photographer. Woodyatt Warner did an incredible job at decorating the room for the wedding breakfast and the speeches. A gorgeous room set up for a beautiful set of speeches. This Aughton wedding at the west tower was just great in so many ways and the weather was beyond perfect too. It’s was incredibly sunny all day, warm and we had a great romantic sunset. We even saved the confetti throw for later in the day when the light was perfect.
